4. Laying of heat -insulating plates. I would like to note the need to use the solid material of the substrate for this purpose. It is also important that polystyrene foam plates lie on the surface tightly, without bumps. This is due to the fact that the further operation of the floors will be associated with an uneven load on the surface itself and, if the substrate is “played”, then the concrete screed can crack, damaging the tile laid on top, and even, possibly, a heating pipe. For this example, slabs made of foam polybella (foam) with bosses were used to lay the thermal conductive, without any devices.
