A flat surface

To cut drywall, it must first be laid on a flat surface, the length of which is not less than the length of the strip. On the front side of the sheet with a sharp knife, a line is cut out using a ruler, a depth of half a thickness. The sheet is broken along the cut line, and the cardboard layer on the back is cut with a knife.
