The technology of manufacturing a stretch ceiling itself involves a high level of technical equipment of the enterprise, complex equipment, compliance with a certain microclimate. Typically, stretch ceilings are made of a thin PVC film or polyester fabric, which is pulled on a special frame (baguette). This frame is fixed clearly along the perimeter of the walls, resulting in a perfectly flat and smooth surface with almost invisible joints. Stretch ceiling frames are made of durable plastic or aluminum. A distinctive feature of all materials used for the manufacture of suspended ceilings is the perfect water resistance and non -exposure to corrosion. The minimum distance at which it is possible to fix the stretch ceiling from the directly ceiling of the bathroom depends on the fastener system of a particular company and a specific modification, usually this is only 20-30 mm, that is, the stretch ceiling does not “eat” the space.
