How the shield formwork is built: requirements and rules
The shield part of the formwork is usually made of boards of approximate thickness of 2-2.5 cm and width of 15-20 cm, fastening the required surface with block beams attached across. The step is retained at least half a meter, but it depends on the geometric characteristics of your structure, since there are no completely identical formwork. The length of the nails should be larger than the total width of the boards by 10-20 mm, and selected nails from the side of the shield turned to concrete are driven. The board is chosen, focusing on the constructive dimensions of the structure, but the weight should be affected by the worker. The formwork is collected, strictly focused on its drawings and recommendations, collecting it on the marks and axes that are indicated in the project.
