Initial line

A good assistant in the marking is a laser level, but you can do with a navigated cord and rule. After the initial line has been marked with the cord — put the rule exactly on it and fix it. Now you can glue the tile, laying the first row close to the rule. Important: Lay the whole tile, and then (usually the very next day) fill the places where you need to cut the pieces.
