Insulating properties

Upon completion of the fastening of the suspended ceiling, an air layer is formed between the main ceiling and the suspended canvas, since the new gypsum -plane layer does not adjoin the surface of the old ceiling directly. The benefit of this is obvious — the air gap can serve as an effective barrier on the path of noise and cold.
