The ventilation system is equipped using a deflector — a device pumping air from the garage to the street. The reflector is recommended to be installed on the roof, in the place where the air duct ends. Then the deflector action forms a low pressure zone inside the air duct, so that the air consumption will be minimal. It is unprofitable to use mechanical devices for natural ventilation, since rain and snow contribute to their rapid wear, which is why the air consumption increases. For the normal operation of ventilation, the deflector is better to put vertically and opposite the supply grilles, and at the opposite to the gate of the wall. To reduce the amount of condensate forming in the garage, or prevent its formation, thermal insulation is put on the deflector. Moreover, for normal operation, the outer duct should be at least 0.5 m higher than the garage. As a rule, external air ducts are made from asbestos or tin with your own.
