Unlike asbestos -cement slate coating, when laying rubber, roofing nails are not driven into the crest of the waves, but into the gutter.

This soft slate is not afraid of mechanical damage, and its installation is quite simple. However, due to some features of such sheets, they are not recommended to cover the roofs of large houses. As well as polymer slate, rubber is used for the most part to block household buildings, arbors or terraces. The height of the construction should not exceed three meters, otherwise the sheets simply cannot withstand the paroism and on one “beautiful” day the whole roof or its individual parts will be on the ground. The main disadvantage of this material is combustibility. In addition, it is not recommended to cover buildings located in the northern regions, since its frost resistance is small.
