Most of the purchased massive board is going on to lay the floor in private houses (cottages, apartments), the premises of which are difficult to call passing. That is why homeowners do not attach much importance to the parquet hardness — a massive board of even low hardness with a working layer of 10 mm in such conditions will last at least 40 years. With large loads on abrasion (in office rooms, gyms, on scenes), preference should be given preference to a parquet of wood with high hardness: larch, maple, ash, oak, wenge, mirbau.
