Electricity and compressed air to power these tools are obtained from mobile generators or compressors specially moved along the front of work. Mobile power plants ZhES-2.0, ZhESS-4.5 and ZhES-9 with a capacity of 2, 4.5 and 9 kA are widely used for these purposes.
