The impregnation serves as a primer for the finish coating, that is, it reduces its consumption and improves adhesion to the surface. And the finish coating is necessary, since the antiseptic impregnation is not able to fully protect the tree from the effects of moisture and atmospheric precipitation. The exception is those in which the varnish has already been added, their coloring has a glossy surface. Lacques, translucent and covering paints are used as a finish.
