Plaster facade system. This time -tested method of decoration is very effective, moreover, it does not require large investment. These facade works are very acceptable, in demand in all regions. In order to study this method of insulation, it is enough to learn about the sequence of laying building materials intended for this. The heat -insulating barrier is created using insulation — plate materials, the thermal conductivity of which is very small. Very often for this purpose, polystyrene or mineral wool slabs are used. The new promising material today is the foam glass. First, a layer of insulation is attached to the bearing wall. It is simply glued to the facade, and for reliability they are fixed on the dowels. Then the reinforced polymer -cement layer is attached, and a layer of plaster is applied on top. As plaster, special mixtures suitable for external work are used. The thickness of the plaster is not more than 1.5 cm, so thermal insulation should be as reliable as possible. If insulation was chosen using a “heavy” plaster, thermal insulation is attached in a mobile way — on a reinforcing mesh and anchor. A special metal grid is needed to protect the plaster layer from deformation. In this case, the thickness of the foam can be about 50 mm. The choice of this method of insulation is justified by the practicality and durability of the decoration. Modern insulation materials are well fighting the effects of negative temperatures. Foam glass, polystyrene and mineral wool insulation are very elastic, they prevent the occurrence of stresses in the structure. Additional protection against moisture is practically not needed. This is due to the fact that the new plaster mixtures are non -gigroscopic, their water absorption is almost equal to zero. So the winding of the windows in Moscow and precipitation will not damage the decorative layer of plaster. You can be calm for the strength and reliability of the entire system, because adhesive compounds perfectly fix insulation slabs. The use of mineral wool insulation is preferable due to the porous structure of these materials. Mineral wool does not prevent the exit of water vapors from the room, which is very important under difficult weather conditions. For comparison, the foam — does not pass moisture, therefore, the incorrectly defined thickness of foam plates can cause a displacement of the dew point. This will entail the formation of condensate inside the facade system.
